Edmonton

Edmonton is the capital of the province of Alberta and as such is a cultural, governmental and educational centre. It the northernmost city in North America with a metropolitan population over one million. The majority of Edmonton's CMA lives within the City of Edmonton rather than in the surrounding suburban municipalities.

CBS Outdoor provides excellent coverage of Edmonton with its Horizontal Posters available throughout the market and Street Level products: Kiosks and Mediacolumns which have particular strength in the downtown core. Our knowledge of the market is second to none. Edmonton has numerous distinct neighbourhoods. Downtown Edmonton consists of the Commercial Core, the Arts District, Rice Howard Way, McKay Avenue, Jasper-West, the Warehouse District and the Government Precinct (also known as Grandin). The Commercial Core and Rice Howard Way double as Edmonton's Central Business District. Across the river from Downtown Edmonton is Strathcona, the heart of the entertainment district in Edmonton which is focused on Whyte Avenue.
